About me

I am a Counselling Psychologist, fully qualified and HCPC Registered (PYL046201).

My approach to psychological therapy places you intentionally at the centre of the work. We build out a shared view or formulation in the early sessions. This shapes a sense of what’s happening and possible therapeutic interventions to support change.

About My Counselling Psychology Practice

In my private counselling psychology practice, I am open to self-referrals from adults.

I appreciate that a new client brings a highly individual situation, position and issues.

I offer single session, short-term and open-ended bespoke psychological therapy to individual adults.

Clients may choose between two session formats: in person at discreet comfortable therapy rooms in Stirling and Falkirk, or online therapy.

As a Counselling Psychologist, our working together includes a biopsychosocial or holistic formulation to guide selection of evidence-based psychotherapeutic processes and psychological interventions to support change. These include

  • evidence-based support for anxiety including health anxiety and social anxiety

  • therapeutic approaches for depression, low mood, loss and change across the lifespan

  • evidence-based support for bereavement-related traumatic stress
